The deaths of two policemen in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, was preceded by a dispute between them, the public security authority said on Sept 19.
Yang Xu, 28, deputy head of a police station in Luohu district, and his colleague, 54-year-old Wu Qianchun, were found dead on the night of Sept 13 after residents heard gunshots, authorities said.
Police said the two policemen quarreled with each other before the attack, and then Wu shot Yang dead after Yang stabbed him in the arms and stomach, according to Southern Metropolis Daily.
Wu committed suicide by shooting himself in the head after he killed Yang, said the report.
The police are still investigating the case, said the report.
