Police tracked down the Ferrari driver who was involved in a hit and run that put a 70-year-old man in a coma on September 15, local media reported Monday.
Police took the 29-year-old driver, surnamed Zhang, to a local police station to assist with the ongoing investigation, according to a report by Shanghai Television Station.
Zhang told police that victim, Yu, was jaywalking during the incident. Zhang believed that he braked in time and never hit the old man.
Police said Zhang held a temporary permit for his new Ferrari.
