Sun Zhongmin, who said that a Wal-Mart supermarket is selling children's garments with carcinogen, told the reporter, "I found the children's garments sold in a Wal-Mart supermarket had a penetrating odor. According to my experience, I suspected that these garments were problematic products. Therefore, I bought some of them and sent them to a relevant organization to examine them."
On Aug. 6, Sun bought a boy's T-shirt from the Wal-Mart supermarket on Jinhai Road of Baoan District and sent it for examination. In order to guarantee a precise examination result, the examination organization required Sun to send another sample. On Aug. 16, Sun got the examination report from the Shenzhen Academy of Metrology and Quality Inspection (SAMQI). "The report proves that my suspicion was right. The T-shirts sold in the Wal-Mart supermarket contains carcinogen," said Sun.
In order to prove that the T-shirt was bought in the Wal-Mart supermarket, Sun showed the purchase bills. He told the reporter that the SAMQI is the organization appointed by the Wal-Mart Company to examine the product.
On the examination report offered by Sun, the reporter found that the item name of the sample was V1221180. In the conclusion column of the report, it was written "the dye material found in the sample generates a cancerogenic aromatic amine and does not accord with item B of the GB18401-2010 National Technical Specifications for Safety of Dry Goods." In the column regarding the dye that generates the cancerogenic aromatic amine, it was written, "forbidden." In The conclusion of the examination was "the red stamp part was within the examination range and a forbidden aromatic amine was found in the part."
