All Wumart stores in Beijing will be open to guide dogs from Monday, the Legal Mirror learnt from the supermarket group.
A Wumart spokesperson said the group received a notice that guide dogs could enter into public places in September, and the group subsequently informed all supermarket staff of the new policy.
A blind person would have to provide a guide dog certificate before entering a store, and the store will allocate an employee to deal with any possible problems.
