Nordox 2012 Photo Exhibition

Co-launched by the Three Shadows Photography Art Center and the 7th session of the Nordox Nordic Documentary Film Festival, this photo exhibition will show viewers photographs from nine news photographers from Northern Europe.

They bring photos that they risked their lives to take in countries such as Afghanistan, Egypt, Syria and Libya.

The images present remarkable moments of life in the middle of major conflicts.

Noise From The Future

Electronic music and rock band Pet Conspiracy will hit the stage and bring their latest album Noise From The Future to the audience.

Established at the end of 2007, Pet Conspiracy has become one of the most popular bands in China and has won prizes like MTV's Band of the Month in 2009.
Now you can experience the power of their live performance.

The Crow

Wanna get in the mood for Halloween early? Then watch this 1994 cult American flick directed by Alex Proyas and starring Brandon Lee, based on a comic book of the same name by James O'Barr.

It is said that crows can raise people from the dead, and so the story begins. On October 30 rock singer Eric and his fiancé are hunted down and killed by a local gangster. One year later, a crow lands on Eric's headstone. Eric is brought back to life and wants revenge.

Book talk

The author Mishra Rankaj will give a talk on his popular book From the Ruins of Empire: The Revolt Against the West and the Remaking of Asia. He explains the reason why he wrote the book and what kind of message he wants to tell the world. The audience is invited to ask questions.

Mike Polarny & Hory
