Beijing Music Festival's "Urban Series"

The "Urban Series" was introduced to the festival last year, and received an overwhelmingly positive response from the Beijing community. This year, it continues to bring surprises to music lovers.

As part of its efforts to bring refined culture to wider audiences, the Beijing Music Festival's "Urban Series" presented an unusual crossover musical dialogue between renowned musicians Cui Jian, Lo Dayu, Tan Dun and Yu Long at Beijing's landmark Sanlitun Village.

On Monday, the artists shared stories on their music careers with hundreds of music lovers, and discussed how the art enriches people's lives. A concert was also held, where artists performed their hit songs, welcomed by rapturous applause.
