Temperatures are expected to drop to 2 C and the capital will see strong winds this weekend, the Beijing Evening News reported Monday.

Heating office officials have said they will provide heating earlier this year as the average daily temperature will fall below 5 C by early November, according to the Legal Mirror.

The usual heating season starts from November 15, but it could start earlier if the average temperature is below 5 C over five consecutive days.
