A cold air front has swept across most parts of north and northwest China in recent days. It's brought snow to Inner Mongolia and Gansu Province and moderate to heavy rain to parts of South China.
In north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the city of Holin Gol received 3 millimeters of snow. In Northwest China's Gansu Province, snow covered the Wuqiaoling section of the G30 national highway.
Local traffic authorities have been on 24-hour highway duty to advise and assist drivers. The cold front is due to move south, with more strong winds and rain expected in the Province of Jiangxi.
