Shandong black pottery festival held

The craft of black pottery dates back some four thousand years - and Shandong province is its birthplace.

A black pottery festival is now ongoing in Dezhou city, a major center for black pottery art. The city's museums are displaying some of the finest works from named masters. These works are cherished for both the pottery's fine texture, and their masterful paintings and carvings.
