Li Lanqing calligraphy exhibit in London

A calligraphy collection by prominent Chinese Politician Li Lanqing went on show in London on Wednesday. The event is attracting public figures from both the political and cultural arenas.

The collection features 461 seal cutting works and 83 calligraphy works. While an art in itself, the content and meaning offer audiences a window into the development of China and Chinese culture, during the period of the reforming and opening up. Li was Vice Premier of China from 1993-2003.
