Lin is confident ahead of Denver showdown.
The Houston Rockets will visit the Denver Nuggets on Thursday and Jeremy Lin says the team is confident and his chemistry with James Harden is good despite the team losing its home debut to the Portland Trailblazers.
The Rockets won the first two games of the new season on the road, defeating Detroit and Atlanta. Lin had 12 points and eight assists against the Pistons and 21 points, a career high 10 rebounds and seven assists against the Hawks.
Meanwhile Harden was dominant, scoring 37 in the first game and a career-high 45 in the second.
But the Rockets failed to capitilise in their home debut against the Portland Trailblazers.
Houston blew a 14-point lead and yet still had a chance to win it in regulation time, but Portland knocked the ball out of Harden's hands seconds before the buzzer.
Lin reflected on the loss and stressed he feels confortable playing with Harden, "It doesn't really change too much in terms of what it was before with Kevin (Martin), I think it's just making plays whenever I have the opportunity and so, sometimes I come off of picks, sometimes he comes off of picks and then we just play off of each other. I'm not sure if, like, we needed to be woken up. I think we were very aware of what our issues were. I didn't think people were getting too complacent or arrogant or anything. But I think it showed us where we need to get better and, energy, bringing energy and things like that."
