By the end of 2015, the number of intellectual property patents will rise to 600 for every 1,000,000 people in Shanghai, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Bureau said Thursday. By 2020, that number is expected to grow to 900.
The bureau will focus on improving the quality of intellectual property, its director said.
