Young pianists compete in Yichang

Over 140 young virtuosos have converged near the Three Gorges Dam for the 3rd National Children's Piano Contest and Performance in Yichang of Hubei province.

Held by the China Musician Association, the contestants come from more than 30 provinces, regions and municipalities across China. They were selected through months of competitions.

The oldest performer is 17 years old. The youngest is just 5. The event runs until Wednesday.
