Palestinian envoy to visit China

A special envoy of the Palestinian president will visit China from Nov. 22 to 24, China's Foreign Ministry announced Wednesday.

Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said the special envoy is Bassam al-Salhi, secretary-general of the Palestinian People's Party.

At a daily press conference, Hua said the two sides will exchange views on bilateral relations, the current Gaza situation and the application of Palestine to seek non-member state status in the United Nations.
