7-time former NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady has made his CBA season debut with the Qingdao Eagles when his team paid a visit to Fujian Quanzhou on Sunday. T-Mac is considered one of the most prominent NBA stars ever to play for China's premier basketball league and he lived up to all the hype.

All eyes were on McGrady as the big new addition looked for an opening victory for Qingdao.

McGrady settles into the new lineup early. He notches the jumper and gives the Eagles a 3-point lead. The Qingdao point guard had five points and five assists in the first quarter as the Eagles go up by two late in the period.

However, that was not enough to keep the visitors in the driver's seat. Fujian came back after Qingdao started piling up the turnovers. It was downhill for Qingdao. Sundiata Gaines led the Fujian pull away. The 3-point play gave the home side a double-digit lead.

McGrady though got the Eagles back in touch, although Fujian enjoyed a 16-point lead at the break. The former Houston Rockets star brought Qingdao back to within single digits with this triple.

T-Mac had an explosive night hoisting 34 points, 8 boards and 9 assists on his first appearance. McGrady reeled off a huge run for Qingdao, knocking down this jumper to tie the game.

However, Gaines drilled a game winning triple from downtown which would destory McGrady's star performance on the night, Fujian stealing a 95-92 victory
