Li Jin Banquet solo exhibition @ Today Art Museum

Using just brush, ink and paper, Li illustrates gluttonous indulgences, such as turkey carcasses and the greasy faces that just gorged on them. Li found his foodie inspiration while on a gourmet journey around the world, from New York to Hamburg, Germany, to Shanghai. Like a dining table, Li presents his works on long, horizontal scrolls. Bon apetit!

Carnival by Heiqiao Artist Community @ Mizuma & One Gallery

To close out 2012, Mizuma & One Gallery brought together 30 artists, most culled from Heiqiao Art Zone, for its year-end project, Carnival. The group exhibition touches on photography, painting, animation and digital illustrations. Don't miss Dai Hua's digital illustration, Map of China 1911 - 2010, in which he crams a century of war, communism, rockets and pandas into a twistedly bubbly illustration more Gameboy than History Channel.
