It's looking like the CBA's Shanghai Sharks will soon be getting a boost, as the club has announced on its official website that Gilbert Arenas will be with the club for the remainder of the season.

Arenas joined the Sharks prior to the start of the new season, but played only six minutes in the club's season opener against Beijing before limping off with a lower body injury.

The Sharks had replaced him with American Ryan Kelly, but the Yao Ming owned club says it is releasing Kelly to bring back the former NBA All-Star.

The Sharks, 2-7 on the season...and without Arenas again on Sunday afternoon as they headed out on the road to play Dongguan. The Leopards, out to a quick start. Qiu Biao puts them up by five. He had 18.

Shanghai, looking to snap a four game losing skid, and Zeng Wending was keeping the Sharks in it. He finished with 16 points.

And the Sharks led by four midway through the second quarter, but Marcus Haislip made it a one-point game with the triple.

Haislip had a match-high 38 points in the match, and his second consecutive three put the Leopards in front by two.

Lester Hudson added 19 points for the host team as they pulled away in the fourth quarter, while Shanghai heavily relied upon their domestic players.

The Leopards kept the Sharks completely off the backboards down the stretch. Haislip sealed it with the three as Dongguan beat Shanghai 103-98. The Sharks have now lost five in a row.
