HK chief executive to visit Beijing

Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) CY Leung will pay a duty visit to Beijing from Dec. 20 to 22, HKSAR government said in a statement Monday.

According to the statement, Leung will brief officials on Hong Kong's latest economic, social and political developments. He will also meet with Hong Kong people who work and do business in Beijing to keep abreast of their living and working situation.

During his absence, Financial Secretary John Tsang will be acting chief executive.
