China's National Meteorological Centre projected lower temperatures and strong winds in some regions in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and more snow is expected in parts of north and northeastern areas in the next three days.
Parts of Xinjiang and Shandong peninsula have already been hit by snow. Rain has been falling in Fujiang, Guangdong and Hainan provinces. And south China has seen temperatures fall some 6 to 8 degrees Celsius.
