Senior CPC official meets Bosnia-Herzegovina's justice minister

Meng Jianzhu, a state councilor and a Political Bureau member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with Bosnia-Herzegovina's Justice Minister Barisa Colak on Wednesday.

Meng said the Chinese side looks forward to more exchanges and closer cooperation in law enforcement with Bosnia-Herzegovina.

China and Bosnia-Herzegovina have signed a treaty regarding mutual legal assistance in civil and commercial matters, as well as a treaty regarding criminal matters.

Meng said the two countries will also sign an extradition treaty.

Colak said Bosnia-Herzegovina attaches great importance to its ties with China, adding that his agency will continue working with China to boost cooperation between the two countries.
