Three miners died and another was hospitalized after a wall of the shaft in which they were working in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region caved in on Thursday.
The tragedy happened at about 3:30 p.m. in a mine zone of Dalian Village in Luchuan County, local government sources confirmed on Friday.
The three deceased miners died on the way to hospital, where the other is still being treated.
The county government has set up a team to investigate the accident.
