The Beijing health inspection department will conduct a spot check on the capital's fast food chicken and publicize the results soon, The Beijing News reported on Monday.
The health inspection department in Beijing's Tongzhou district collected raw chicken samples for testing from KFC's distribution center in Tongzhou after media reports that chickens fed with antibiotics had been sent to fast food restaurants such as KFC. The results of the test are expected to be released within a week.
