Nakaima calls for normalized China relations

据日本新闻网报道，日本冲绳县知事仲井真27日要求新任外务大臣岸田文雄尽快解决日中争议岛屿问题，改善日中两国关系。

(ECNS.cn) -- Hirokazu Nakaima, governor of Okinawa Prefecture, has urged Japan's new foreign minister Fumio Kishida to solve the Sino-Japan island dispute at an early date, according to the Japan News Network on Thursday.

Nakaima visited Tokyo on the first day of the new Shinzo Abe government.

"A sound Japan-China relationship is important to Okinawa, so I hope relevant authorities will work to normalize the relationship between the two countries as soon as possible," said Nakaima.
