The Chinese embassy in Amman says China will donate 200-thousand US dollars for Syrian refugees in Jordan. Preparations to transfer the money will begin soon. Around 300,000 Syrians have fled to Jordan since early 2011.
Aid groups say Syrians in the Zaatari camp, which is home to more than 45,000 refugees, are facing difficult conditions.
Jordan has repeatedly appealed for international aid to assist the refugees due to the limited resources in the Arab kingdom.
