Nordox Nordic Documentary Film Festival @ UCCA Cinema

UCCA presents the best entries from the 2012 Nordox Nordic Documentary Film Festival. The films portray bizarre realities, such as when Icelandic comedians become politicians, Swedish entrepreneurs become North Korean jeans producers or nuclear power becomes waste that will outlive us all. For the North Korea junkies out there, Saturday's lineup has both the Swedish jean makers in Maneuvers in the Dark and Swedish director Magnus B?rt?s' Madame and Little Boy, which explores the story of a South Korean actress kidnapped in the '70s to perform in North Korean films.
