Five interns killed by gas

Five interns from the China-Japan Friendship Hospital allegedly died of gas poisoning at an apartment in Yinghuajie, Chaoyang district, on Monday morning, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The five were all students from Harbin Medical University in Daqing, Heilongjiang Province.

The Southern Metropolis Daily said one roommate of the five, also an intern at the hospital, found their dead bodies at 8:30 am.
