The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said on Friday it has investigated Zhou Zhenhong, a former official in Guangdong Province for "serious discipline and law violations".
Zhou was stripped of his Party membership and removed from his official posts, according to a decision of the CPC's CCDI.
Zhou was former member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee.
