Five people are missing after a ferry boat collided with a cargo ship and sunk Tuesday in the Yangtze River section in Yueyang city, central China's Hunan Province.
China Maritime Search and Rescue Center said nine others on the ferry were saved after the accident took place at 3:20 p.m., when the boat carrying 14 people was crossing the river.
The search and rescue is underway, the center said.
