A restaurant caught fire after residents set off fireworks outside, and over 10 diners were evacuated Sunday night in Daxing district, the Legal Mirror reported Monday.
A diner said the power suddenly cut out at the Chinese chain restaurant at 9 pm, and he was asked to get out. All the diners rushed outside when they saw the flames, and the restaurant did not charge them. The restaurant walls were decorated with fake fur.
The fire was put out soon after firefighters arrived. No casualties were reported.
