Fog causes traffic pile-up in C China

Heavy fog has caused more than 30 cars to crash into each other at the Henan section of the Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macao Expressway.

The government of Luohe City, where the accident occurred, says the pile-up killed one person, and injured 18 others, with two severely hurt. They have been sent to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment.

The accident caused a traffic jam extending for a length of seven kilometers. Local police arrived at the site to deal with the aftermath.
