Chinese police will try to minimize interference in the public's daily routine due to security measures during upcoming annual political sessions, organizers said on Thursday.

The police will take measures to ensure the smooth convening of the political sessions, as well as to reduce any negative influence on normal social life, said the organizers of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The organizers will make scientific arrangements for the routes and scheduling of conventioneers' motorcade in order to maintain normal traffic conditions for the public.

Traffic information will also be released before and after the daily sessions via the traffic broadcasting station and outdoor electronic screens, said the organizers.

The first annual session of the 12th NPC will begin on March 5, while the first annual session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will commence on March 3.

The events typically mean heightened security, particularly in Beijing.
