5.5-magnitude quake hits southwest China: CENC

A 5.5-magnitude quake jolted Eryuan county, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture of southwest China's Yunnan Province, at 1:41 p.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 9 km, was monitored at 25.9 degrees north latitude and 99.7 degrees east longitude, the center said.
