Streaks, Liu Ke solo exhibition @ Space Station

In his first Beijing solo exhibition, Guangzhou-based artist Liu Ke , marks his transition from spot-themed works to his current Streak style. The artist uses paint and mixed media to produce colored lines of gold, white, red and black, done for the "fun of deconstruction and reconstruction."

I Love You, Dear Girl, Buyi concert @ Jianghu bar

Chinese band Buyi, from Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has been at it for 18 years, making them a regular in the Chinese festival scene. Jam out to their mix of Western rock with traditional Chinese instruments.

Rock Lady concert @ Mao Livehouse

March 7, one day ahead of Women's Day, has been dubbed Girls' Day by many Chinese netizens. Not needing much of a prompt to host a show, Mao Livehouse will celebrate with a concert featuring girl-led indie bands including Life Test, The Fake Act and Little Crow.
