NPC agenda for March 13

The following is Wednesday's agenda for the first session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.

-- Delegations to the NPC session will hold meetings to deliberate on the candidates to leaders and members of the NPC Standing Committee, president, vice president, and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the People's Republic of China. They will also discuss the plan of institutional reform and functional transformation of the State Council.

-- Minister of Civil Affairs Li Liguo will hold a press conference on the development of public services at the session's media center on Wednesday morning.

-- Zhou Xiaochuan, China's central bank governor, will hold a press conference on China's currency policy and financial reform at the session's media center on Wednesday afternoon.
