NPC agenda for March 15

The following is the agenda on Friday for the first session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.

-- The NPC session will hold its fifth plenary meeting to vote to decide premier, as well as vice-chairpersons and members of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China. They will also elect president of the Supreme People's Court and procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

-- Delegations to the NPC session will hold meetings Friday afternoon to deliberate on the candidates for vice premiers, state councilors, ministers, ministers in charge of various commissions, central bank governor, auditor-general and secretary-general of the State Council. They will also deliberate on the candidates for chairpersons, vice chairpersons and members of the special committees of the 12th NPC.
