Police in Beijing uncovered more than 150 cases of producing forged and fake goods from January to March.
Officers busted 90 production dens during this time in a special campaign to crack down on fake commodities.
They seized more than 40,000 packs of cigarettes, 1,350 fake watches and 57,000 bottles of wine, spirits and beer, according to the Beijing police micro blog on Friday.
More than 60 criminal rings were busted and 240 people detained in the campaign, police said.
The campaign was launched amid a flourishing market for cigarettes, alcohol and other commodities during Spring Festival, which fell on Feb 10 this year.
Police also targeted online shops selling fake products during the campaign.
