Eight people were killed and another 15 injured on Friday in a road accident in southeast China's Fujian Province, government authorities said.
The accident happened around 11:50 a.m. when a truck loaded with cement hit a bus and another truck at the expressway from Zhangzhou to Longyan City in the county of Nanjing, said a spokesman with the county government.
The injured were rushed to hospital and it is unknown yet whether their injury conditions were life threatening, according to the spokesman.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
