Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) leader Liu Yunshan on Monday called for common contribution to the realization of the "Chinese dream."
Speeches by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, have brought to prominence the "Chinese dream," a much-discussed concept widely understood to mean a renewal of the Chinese nation.
Liu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks while addressing a symposium on mobilizing the public for China's benefit.
He urged efforts to accumulate "positive energy" among the public and inspire people to contribute to the realization of the "Chinese Dream" by doing a good job in their own positions.
"Every Chinese is a member of the 'Dream Team,' and a co-maker of the 'Chinese dream,'" he said.
