CCTV to establish training base with CUC

China Central Television and the Communication University of China, or CUC, are to jointly establish a professional talent training base. It is aimed at training foreign languages media personnel, and maximizing resources.

The two sides have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, agreeing to establish mechanisms to facilitate the exchange of professional talents on a regular basis. Undergraduate students will have access to internships at CCTV, with the prospect of employment.

And CCTV will offer lectures from experienced anchors and reporters. The CUC's School of Foreign Studies is in charge of coordinating efforts. Experts say this exchange will benefit the future of Foreign Language media talents.
