China gives assistance to Boston bombings victims, relatives

The Chinese ambassador to the US, Cui Tiankai, says he's working closely with the US state department for the latest information on Chinese nationals killed or injured in the Boston bombings. The Chinese government has expressed its deep sympathy and sincere condolences to the American people over the attacks.

The ambassador says the highest priority is caring for the wounded, providing funeral assistance, and other assistance for relatives, including those travelling from China to the US.
