International leaders have expressed their offers of support to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang for the disaster relief work in the aftermath of the magnitude-7 earthquake in Sichuan province.
Heads of state and high-ranking officials from Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, Russia and Germany say they believe life in the quake-hit region will recover quickly under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the central government.
Many other countries around the world have also expressed their support to China. They've expressed their condolences to the victims of the quake and their families and their wishes for a quick recovery for those injured. They've pledged their willingness to assist China in its rescue efforts.
