A strong quake in southwest China's Sichuan Province has left 188 people dead and 25 missing as of 2 p.m. Monday, the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced.
Altogether 11,950 were injured and more than 1.72 million people were affected by the deadly quake, according to the ministry.
The quake hit Lushan county of Ya'an city at 8:02 a.m. Saturday.
