Located at the north of Jiali County of Nagqu Prefecture, the Mitika Wetland covers an area of 43,496 hectares and stands at 4,900 meters above seal level on average. Being a plateau swamp meadow wetland, it is the migration/reproduction place for wild animals and also home to varied species of fish.
