Zhao Xi prefers to draw his son's achievements, creating a unique cartoon baby book.
Now you might have a teething toddler in the house and of course you want to record your child's early years as a keepsake for the future. While parents usually take pictures or film their children, a 31-year-old dad in Inner Mongolia is taking a different approach.
Zhao Xi prefers to draw his son's achievements, creating a unique cartoon baby book. As an amateur cartoonist it came naturally to him to create this step-by-step diary of his son's life so far. Since his son was born in 2012 Zhao has recorded each important point and whenever he has any free time he adds another episode to the collection.
Each piece has its own theme that reflects his true feelings of being a father for the first time. It's clear from the diary that they are overjoyed to be parents and they say they will keep working on it and finally give it to him as a gift when he has grown-up as a unique record of his childhood.
