Jiaolong prepares for science mission(2)

Xiangyanghong-9, the support ship of China's manned submersible Jiaolong, is ready to start its voyage in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, May 30, 2013. Xiangyanghong-9 is expected to set out on June 5 from Qingdao and sail toward the South China Sea and north Pacific on June 10 on a scientific mission. The voyage will take 103 days. Jiaolong, China's first manned submersible, dived into a record deep 7,062 meters in the Pacific Ocean's Mariana Trench in 2012. [Photo/Xinhua]
