At least 61 people have been killed, and dozens injured in a fire at a poultry company in Jilin province, in Northeast China.
The blaze broke out Monday morning in Dehui city. A rescue operation and investigation are underway. Initial findings suggest the fire was caused by a short-circuit, due to an excessive amount of water in the factory area.
The incident took place during the handover of the shifts, which may have reduced the number of casualties.
