President Xi Jinping has also attended a conference with Chinese and Mexican entrepreneurs. In a keynote speech, the president said both China and Mexico are at a crucial stage in their development. Xi urged entrepreneurs on both sides to work together to increase mutual understanding and cooperation to push trade ties to a new level.
Earlier, the mayor of Mexico City, Miguel Mancera presented Xi Jinping with a ceremonial key. Xi Jinping expressed hope that Mexico City will boost exchanges with Chinese provinces and cities.
Mancera called for dialogue to establish a strategic agenda, including financial leadership and investment, and the use of technology to improve health, sustainable development and mobility.
