Hong Kong (CNS) - The People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison will open three barracks on June 30 and July 1 to celebrate the 16th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, according to the garrison on Monday.
The garrison plans to open Sek Kong, San Wai and Stonecutter Barracks respectively from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 30 and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 1.
Opening day activities will include flag raising ceremonies, marching performances, simulation combat training, rescue drills, and exhibitions of military equipment.
A total of 25,000 tickets will be offered to Hong Kong citizens and local social groups, and distributed at six barracks on June 23. The San Wai and Stonecutter Barracks have respectively 9,000 tickets, while Sek Kong Barracks has 7,000 available tickets.
