Criticism of China's performance against Thailand continues to build, now with the Chinese Football Association getting involved. During an interview with the Xinhua News Agency, the Chinese Football Association vice president Yu Hongchen said the loss was "abnormal and unacceptable".
He said the coach Camacho was not just to blame, with the players and CFA also bearing responsibility. According to Yu, the CFA has not made any decision whether to fire or keep him as manager. He also said police should investigate rumours of the game being fixed after abnormal betting activity was reported.
