"The Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity" is the world's biggest global event for those in advertising. And, thanks to the presence of some cute pandas and bellybands, China is also making a strong impression.
It's the event's 60th anniversary, and delegates from all over the world have brought their national and ethnic treasures. Of course, Pandas are a familiar symbol of China, and its traditional bellybands have also inspired fashion designers in recent years.
They're among more than 35,000 entries being showcased and judged at this year's festival, which also includes workshops, exhibitions and high-profile seminars. Top awards will be given out to the winning advertisers and their works this weekend.
